sometimes it felt like Sunrise/Lantis had to kneel and brown-nose the shit out of NHK executives to give them a primetime spot and then it turns out that it didn't do jackshit because most love livers don't watch anime at those hours. They will probably give Superstar the standard spot and air it on tokyomx for the second season.

Lanzhu has clearly always been intended to be the "main" R3BIRTH member, so her getting pushed above Shio and Mia in the anime is no surprise whatsoever.
She also makes a much better foil for Yuu than Shioriko anyway since Yuu and Lanzhu are basically the same character type, with the same love for idols, so Lanzhu can threaten Yu's postion by acting as a straight replacement. Shioriko on the other hand is far too passive and no threat at all, she does nothing but spill spaghetti.
Also on LanPomu, I'm pretty sure it exists over ShioPomu for the same reasons why the anime team chose to do YuSetsu over the established Ana(Yu)Kasu, because it's a ship with little to no history and non-existent fanbase, so when it loses barely anyone will get mad.
