It’s like there’s two types of Jojo fans. Part 5 seems to be the split. I loved parts 1-4. Then part 5 comes along and I’m just not having it.

I remember when I first read it and enjoyed it for the memes and the ridiculous parts. Then after the anime came out I enjoyed it as a whole a lot more. Jonathan is still somewhat of a flat character to me, but his death makes him work as a beginning of a big legacy to live up to.
It's also fun to see clips of All Star Battle and imagine how he's able to go toe to toe with Star Platinum when he can't even see it.

Part 5 was really ballsy in places compared to other parts with how it killed off most of its cast. Probably why I like 5 and 6 so much. Pyrrhic victory is best type of victory.

I'm looking forward to when Jojolion eventually gets adapted and seeing what the response will be like. I was really lukewarm towards Ventu Auero in the manga, but the anime was excellent, apparently the director of Jojo is a big fan of Part 8 and is looking forward to doing that one the most.
