I do not believe the Gash bell sequel is going to be good, is probably going to ruin a perfect series.
I do not believe the Biscuit Hammer anime is going to be good
I do not believe The new Spice and Wolf anime is going to be good
I do not understand why people get happy about new announcements when 99% of the time is shit
Ever thought of the possibility that not everyone is as jaded and devoid of joy as you?
All of them will be great, I will it. HOPE
>Ever thought of the possibility that not everyone is as jaded and devoid of joy as you?
I hate this "jaded" excuse that people say to justify, doing stupid shit. How many times I need to be disappointed before by skepticism is justify?

When you stop whining about it and grow up I guess.
>When you stop whining
????
Name one successful rebooted anime?
Unironically what can they do? The Mamodo war was almost every 100 or 1000 thousand years and Gashu said that he wouldn't force them to fight.
>He comments on the latest breathless press releases from tech companies. This will change everything! say the press releases. “No it won’t”, he comments. This is the greatest invention ever to exist! say the press releases. “It’s a scam,” he says.
>Whatever upheaval is predicted, he denies it. Soon we’ll all have flying cars! “Our cars will remain earthbound as always”. Soon we’ll all use cryptocurrency! “We’ll continue using dollars and Visa cards, just like before.” We’re collapsing into dictatorship! “No, we’ll be the same boring oligarchic pseudo-democracy we are now” A new utopian age of citizen governance will flourish. “You’re drunk, go back to bed.”
>When all the Brier scores are calculated and all the Bayes points added up, he is the best futurist of all. Everyone else occasionally gets bamboozled by some scam or hype train, but he never does. His heuristic is truly superb.
>But he could be profitably replaced with a rock. “NOTHING EVER CHANGES OR IS INTERESTING”, says the rock, in letters chiseled into its surface. Why hire a squishy drooling human being, when this beautiful glittering rock is right there?
this comparison makes no sense. We are not talking about experiments or new inventions.
The point remains the same. If you assert that these new anime will be bad simply because most new anime are bad, you're no better than a rock with the heuristic inscribed in its surface. You'll probably be right, but you'll still be useless, and more importantly you'll miss out on the fun of getting hype for the 1%. Sure, it's takes critical discernment to figure out when the heuristic is wrong, but that's what makes you a person and not a rock.
Legend of the Galactic Heroes.
Yamato 2199.
>more importantly you'll miss out on the fun of getting hype for the 1%
fun??? stop with this consumer mentality. I want something good, not the possibility of getting something good.
It is fun to be excited about something good and to then have your hopes justified. The good things you ask for are already consumer products, you are not outside of the consumer mentality just because you act jaded when you watch them.
there is being optimistic and there is denial. I always aks myself "how is possible for people to get scammed when is so obvious that was a scam?" I guess I got the answer. Maybe I should change my career to salesman.
Tio
>It is fun to be excited about something good and to then have your hopes justified.
Holy shit! how can you live like this?
>The good things you ask for are already consumer products, you are not outside of the consumer mentality
What?
the gash cafe chapters sequel baited some stuff about beings more powerful than demons or something like that
I don't feel like what I said should be all that confusing. You are pessimistic because you feel like the quality of consumer goods, in this case anime, has declined. This pessimism does not arise from apathy, you are not outside the consumerist system. Obsessive pessimism is also a consumerist mindset. If you were really separated from consumerism, you wouldn't be on a board focused on consumer products at all.
I liked Yozakura Quartet. like the manga much better, but I thought it was good.
Now I'm not a Any Forums nigger so I don't know nor care if it sold a lot or not, I only know that I liked it and that's successful in my eyes
I would not argue that people should be blind to obvious faults. After all, "anime is always bad" is a heuristic that works 99% of the time. But if you never do the critical investigation to see if it might be wrong this time, then you'd never encounter the good anime at all.
Most people are happy with anime as it is and the things you would perceive as flaws don't even cross their minds.
So they are happy and get excited about things

I'm not pessimistic I do not understand why would you think that? and since when buying good products is a consumer mentality?
>But if you never do the critical investigation to see if it might be wrong this time
I'm wrong this time?
Most of the subhumans that like reboot are Any Forumstards they want remakes, reboots and remasters mostly because modern things are really bad
They need to keep consuming, they are actual subhumans
Could be, could be not
