I think what happened is just that she fulfilled her use for Kiyo. The thing about protecting her is in my opinion him recognising how people are supposed to feel about her (see Haruka), and then simply deciding to make use of her for his plans.

Her main spotlight would be volumes 9 - 11. Her official debut appearance before Ayanokouji is at the end of volume 5. Looking back, she barely appeared even in the LN. Only ever pops up to go on about nature vs nurture shit

I remember Arisu and Ryuuen bumping wih each other on Volume 7. In the subsequent volumes, Ryuuen aimed to take down Arisu and Ichinose first before getting back to Ayanokouji but nothing of note is happening yet.
