user you have to remember the majority of the SnK fanbase that is active on the social media sites where you see those kind of reactions are like 15-20 years old and not well-read. The finale of the series is filled with emotionally manipulative scenes and other tricks like foreshadowing (real or fake), and deliberately confusing narrative choices that give the illusion of depth and they eat that stuff up.
Also consider that a lot of people got very invested in this series, some of them for years, and things in the ending probably left them feeling unsatisfied or upset but they trusted the author for so long so they start coping and writing these walls of text to convince themselves that actually it was brilliant (which is not hard to do, because again so many things are unclear or downright confusing, you can easily spin your own meaning onto them).
