So, this shit is like the second season of Psycho Pass, right? Absolute shit without the Urobutcher? Or does it keep the dark elegance of Madoka?
Magia Record
It's a spin-off based on teh gacha
But is it as well-written and full of suffering as Madoka Magica? Or is it just Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura type shit?
It's more like that Daybreak Illusion or whatever edgy mahou shoujo or that one with La Boipucelle
Or just Madoka but with worse writing
Are there even the original characters in it? Like Madoka or Kyoko?
Watch it and find out
Thanks user!
It's nothing like Daybreak Illusion.
I love the gacha.
It's pretty good.
>gacha
>no urokino
c'mon, it's obviously 2 TIMES bad from those facts alone.
I don't really care about Uro. MagiReco has been pretty good without him.
It's pretty shit, I watched it thinking it was going to be of similar quality to the original (this was before I found out it was based on a gacha) and was extremely disappointed. Don't bother with it.

>But is it as well-written and full of suffering as Madoka Magica
lol
It was very good.
Anti-Urobuchi Madokafags are just as retarded as anti-Tatsuki Kemofure fags. They somehow resemble each other.
s2 season is pretty decent overall
Nice boogeyman.
Its very bad.
It's trash. The production value is all over the place. It has one of the stupidest side characters drama ever. It remove stake and theme of despair and hope since doppel exist. No tie in with buddist and christian theology like the original. Uwasa is basically witches without consequences. It's almost devoid of any substance that makes the original the greatest anime ever made.
The mystery main plot is ok, shaft just being shaft so the show looks great and some of the uwasa/doppel designs are cool. But It's bad when literally the only defense people who like it is "at least it's better than your average seasonal show".
It's pretty much still Madoka. Trying to oppose the system.
It's very good.

Sometimes I feel like you people have highly selective memory. When Magia Record started airing, I remember people complaining it was ruining Madoka's image by being littered with QUALITY. It's alright. Pretty meandering and Iroha somehow has less agency as a protagonist than Madoka herself, but they do an okay job of expanding the setting.
For some reason they toned down Iroha's character a lot in the anime to the point she's just riding along with the events, rather than initiating. The manga provides a closer to the game Iroha.
