I loved the series for a good while but I think it's been since about chapter 180 or so since I last read any of it. Looks like now is a good time to re-read the whole thing and be caught up for the ending.

Stopped caring since worst guy was winning.

Arata killed the manga

I love this series so much I would recommend it anytime but I have to admit that it's not for everyone, I just like the competitive aspect of it.

Remember when this used to be so commonly loved that we had a sticky when S2 was announced?

Taichi Tuesday bros, where are you? I thought the manga ended years ago.

I don’t blame Taichibros for thinking we had a shot. He is the better written male lead by a long shot, but it was never going to happen. Then I became more sure when I found out the writer who is named Yuki Suetsugu actually admitted that Taichi was originally meant to disappear after the second or third volume because he was just a side character in the drafts. The story was originally suppose to just be about the karuta idiots Chihaya and Arata and she has proven that she will not move away from that original idea. She did not grow alongside her work.

Good riddance. It went downhill fast and been there ever since.

I've only watched the anime and I love it. I'll read the Manga some day but I'm not sure if I should do it now or I should wait for a new Anime season.

It had fans but it's not some hot favorite, the thread didn't max out or anything. Besides, current Any Forums is very different from then.
