Why do you think it does?
Why do you give a fuck?

>can't handle more than 12 episodes per season
>can't discuss them in their social circles unlike the "trendy shows"

just wait until lum gets remade and suddenly all zoomers will be into it making shit western art with pride flags

>Why do you think it does?

If you aren't blind you can easily see they're only into the new stuff and whatever is being wanked atm

>Why do you give a fuck?

Because discussing fan communities and future of the medium is still part of Any Forums

>>can't discuss them in their social circles unlike the "trendy shows"
This. If Gigguk is not gonna talk about a show, what's the point of watching it?

No, I don't pay attention to what kids are doing. Nor do I think what gets discussed on Any Forums is at all representative of what people are actually watching.
Any Forums is for discussing anime and manga. Fan communities aren't either.

>No, I don't pay attention to what kids are doing
That's just on you then. Many of us want to see the tastes of the generation that's the future of this planet.

>obsessing over other people
You shouldn't, it's bad for your mental health.

no way that fag still posting

>obsessing
The word is observing, user.

>Why does old anime filter generation z so hard?
Gen z doesn't care about the medium they care about socializing.
Gen z is so obsessed with social media/e-celebrities that anything that's not discussed there is inherently bad.
The same thing can be observed with games and movies.

I am almost sure I have ADHD but I have more problem with many modern shows than old ones. Boogiepop for example was too hard to get to be boring to me and the time the event take place changes almost every scene, so it kept me attentive.

do zoomers watch anything that isn't shonenshit?

Does Any Forums? You constantly have shitty repeating fma vs fmab threads about a garbage series to begin with.

>2000 is old anime.
Lurk 20 more years, newfag.

This, most kids nowadays only watch stuff so they aren't left out of the conversation, not because they actually enjoy it. If the Urusei Yatsura remake suddenly gets popular halfway through its 4 cours run I guarantee you a lot of kids will just watch tik toks explaining the series instead of sitting down and catching up.

>why does people choose mediocre new shit over mediocre "old" shit?

I see young kids with like 200+ days watched all the time and they've seen all the classics and shit. You think people stopped being autistic after 1996? I feel like you guys just see one twitter screencap or whatever and think it represents everyone.

I doubt it. Most of them belong to the new wave of anime fans that only became fans because they enjoyed the anime they saw on tv which are usually endless battle shounen. Not sure why they don't get into other genres afterwards, like old anons did. Maybe it's because there is more shounenshit so they are busy with that. Back in the day it was just DBZ here, so those that got into anime thanks to it didn't have much else to watch and necessarily tried out different things.
PLUS, this and Those that grew up with social media are brainfucked and cannot think outside of it. Everything they do is just done to socialize and get validity points through it. A shitton of fans of popular franchises know next to nothing about it. They just watch or read out of context scenes their discord friends sent them and talk as if they memorized the whole lore.

>filter gen z
In what way? I'm one of the outliers that watches anime old as sin.

They watch a lot of moeshit and isekai

>why does people

moe is more of a millennial thing

Kannah from maid dragon was a big meme among Gen z. Don't lewd the dragon loli
