Would you willingly visit an isekai restaurant and eat their food?
Isekai Shokudou
I'd visit your mom's restaurant
Did it get a season 2 already?
It's not isekai if it's in this world.
About four months ago
eat their food and their cute waitress too
They gangster until they have to do real gangster shit.
Is this a midnight diner ripoff
Is SRW isekai?
Tell us more then we'll decide
Once the worlds start getting plural on the double digits it's no longer isekai but just plain multiverse shit
What's SRW?
Super robot wars
Slightly Retarded Women
Then no, it's not an isekai
Anyone know any Stargate adjacent isekai, like Gate but not shit. Anything with a modern army exploring multiple different worlds. Archaeology, anthropology and linguistics autism is desired also. Scifi and fantasy elements being present concurrently would be nice as well.
Why are there so many villainess isekais but almost no villain isekais?
nobody want to read something like "I was reincarnated as Char Aznable?!!"
Villain isekais are presented as justified heroes because edge lords are stupid. They're the guys who were betrayed and thus have a really good reason to be a dick, promise.
I would
with how popular Overlord is, I'm suprised there isn't more stuff with titles like "Haha Whoops, it turns out I am the Demon King"
Because that's just your typical jap murderhobo
So long as it's a new setting with the mc being a Char clone I'd be interested. I wouldn't be as interested if it's just normal UC gundam.
Maybe there are some out there, they just haven't been translated yet.
Overlord is only popular among normalfags, it's not even the most popular normalfag isekai either
There's also the problem not even overlord fans agree if Ainz is actually a villain protag or not
I doubt you can even categorize overlord as "isekai" because how well written it is compared to other typical WN. In fact stuff made before 2010 like Magi's grandson or Death march also have certain quality and originality that modern WN don't have. Well they are the "cookie cutter' after all.
