Why is it do hard for manga/anime to have good endings?

Why is it do hard for manga/anime to have good endings?
almost every manga/anime when it gets good it jumps shark then stretches with filler garbage and a shit ending

I wish to read FMA for the first time ever again. Its great but the first adaptation of the anime is better for me.

Japs have more of a "the journey matters more than the destination" attitude towards storytelling

that doesn't make sense when the journey is shit

Generalizing all anime and manga based on the 10 you've gone through in total is pretty silly.

This was not a good ending especially with that hideous shot, the show should have ended with hohenheim's death

>This was not a good ending
Yeah, Mei and Al should have had some kids as well?

every good ending needs a well rounded and thoughtful journey.

Don’t care. No roy Riza. Don’t care.

Pic unrelated. This ending is generic garbage with a shitty final battle leading to it.

snkfags are not coping well lol

Not everyone can plan it all out from the beginning like Tolkien

Project more fag

No matter how good the ending is, there will always be idiots complaining.

Pic unrelated

at that point the story had been totally wrecked so it didn't matter

>retcons the ending to please shippers

Thankfully, that shit's AU so people with actual taste can ignore it.

>zoomers call this a 'good' ending
Kneel before the superior version.
