What's the secret behind its success? Is Japan just thirsting for more Kaiju battle manga?

Work on Psyren
Is it any good? Anime when?
The beginning couple of chapters are alright, but the rest is not worth reading
>Kaiju
>all main enemies are human sized
It started as sort of a parody of shonen task force stuff but then became generic. I still follow it because the comedy is at least decent.
That's what honestly bothers me the most is that all the main big bads are also mildly above human sized like the mc and the only main villan we seen with an a actually giant monster form is no.10s transformation. Other than that it's a pretty fun read.
>Work on Psyren
I don’t follow?
I hope military aesthetic is making a comeback.
Kaiju mean strange beast in Japan, what you want is called Daikaiju. Not their fault you misunderstand it.
Kaiju No. 8?
More like.... CRINGE No. 8 lmFAOOOOO!
>no dicksuckers on Any Forums
>an actual success.
Yet again.
it's thanks to stuff like godzilla permanently associating the term Kaiju for any big monster in the west.
Is it true the author is the wife of the bobobobobobo author?
I thought it was Pacific Rim? Prior to it people just called Kaiju giant monsters.
Why is it always some loser suddenly gaining power to get the girl? How about some loser doing his best, but it never being enough and never geting the girl?
The series peaked right here and now it gets continually more boring
>How about some loser doing his best, but it never being enough and never geting the girl
That would just be real life user.
Art should reflect real life.
To some extent, but not all of it.
Giving people hope is the greatest evil I can think of.
the MC isn't some 15 year old faggot, but a 30 something stuck in a shitty job.
he's more relatable for self-inserts who actually read shonen.
Why do you think it was the only thing remains in Pandora’s box?
But he acts like a 15 year old faggot

Impact. The writing, pacing, setting and even the cast overall(outside of shroom Kaiju) are really fucking mediocre but Kafka's design coupled with the impact he causes every single time he appears transformed carries the whole series. You can also tell by that the author knows how to market their work, the red background to catch people's attention and then you have Kafka with vivid colors ontop of it as if his design by itself isn't already overkill. It doesn't sound like much but just getting random people browsing a website with a fuckload of series to check yours is already a massive achievement.
