I guess we don't need a backstory but I think we mostly just want to see hit motivation, what makes him tic. Who is his inspiration, who does he admire, what is his end goal. For such spotlight on a character to just leave empty besides "ambition" it feels hollow

He was raised in a slum by a raging alcoholic who probably killed his mom, and spent his formative years at the mercy of the worst elements of society. From this chaotic environment stems both his need for absolute control, and his bottomless disdain for fellow humans.
