The whymen don't understand humans so they don't care if the tech they're sharing would cause humans to kill themselves, this will prevent leaking it to the dangerous people. Or Senku might at last be showing signs of greed.

Considering their true nature, I would expect to find them scattered around the world so the chances of being found by a revived human are better

Senku wants to colonize the universe using the medusas mysterious vacuum levitation power to make spaceships

After realizing that humanity took thousands of years to wake up, they could have at least not petrify every single human again

But if they expected humans to depetrify so fast, that wouldn't be exactly imortality, eventually they would just die of old age because they can't be kept petrifies for longer than what they expected
