Now that the dust has settled

Now that the dust has settled
Did it deserve to be cancelled after only one chapter?

The hell is this?

Yes, it was pretty crap.

>cancelled after only one chapter
So it's a oneshot?

It was incredibly shitty even for isekai standards

It was blatant plagiarism so yes

obviously not but you'll only get pozzed answers on Any Forums

Legit baffling seeing Any Forums worship generic revenge porn garbage made by salty author unironically upset that Kakegurui got outsold by Isekai Shokudou.

>blatant plagiarism
every isekai and anime ever made

>baffling
Have you been living under a rock for the past few years? Any Forums is filled with people kiddies who dig that shit.

>Imelda PiƱata
It was an injust takedown by Kadokawa. I wanted to see where this trainwreck would lead.

No, but the butthurt from isekaifaggots was worth the one chapter. They can't even take simple parody, so they cancel you.

how to make sure no one cares about your characters: do some sort of shitty batch introduction meeting like this

Oh hey look, it's the one monumentally asshurt retard who keeps spamming every Cheat Slayer insisting that parody and satire are born out of jealousy and envy! They really should ban you already, this website is 18+ only.

Also; hate to break it to you fagtard, but the Cheat Slayer mangaka is more talented than all the authors of the shit he satirised put together, and the one chapter of Cheat Slayer is better than all manga you like put together, nevermind Kakegurui itself!

>Wasn't funny so it didn't work as a parody
>Premises do not make full plots, especially if the premise is some dumbass quirky idea that should've died in whatever discord chat spawned it

>parody must be "funny"
someone here has a subzero iq

If you've read or watched Kakegurui then you already know that the guy is one of the absolute best writers in Japan today; so it is a shame that this was forced to be cancelled because it would have been absolutely fascinating to see Kawamoto Homura's views on isekai stories; it could have been a narrative as singular and uncompromising as Garth Ennis' views on superheroes.

My favorite isekai character would turn out to be the secret mastermind behind everything the whole time.

hate to break it you but cry and cope faggot

>one of the absolute best writers in Japan today
You have to be joking. Kakegurui is enjoyable but it's not like it's some super high quality stuff.
>as singular and uncompromising as Garth Ennis' views on superheroes
>Garth Ennis
Ok you have to be trolling at this point. The fucker is worse than Urobuchi when it comes to jacking off about anti-heroic ideals.

He's defending an edgy isekai shit about 'heroes' who are actually evil. Of course he likes Garth Ennis.

Kakegurui is more popular worldwide than any isekai shit you like. Seethe moar underageb&

>Kakegurui is enjoyable but it's not like it's some super high quality stuff.
I am willing to die on the hill that out of all the manga currently published in Japan, Kakegurui has the best cast of characters by a country mile.

Yes because there's a thin line between parody and mean spirited butthurt and this thing crossed it.
