i mean, i kind of like the idea of an adventurer that does any kind of tactic in order to defeat a monster with either the use of nature or something else, in fact, i actually really like the concept of the GS, not the character mind you but the idea of it. as for the story,,, i don't know, it's kind of forgettable in a way but that's probably just me or anyone else

So the premise is dumb.
If the story were better, it would be fine. But it's not. It's just as dumb.
The only thing that the series is good for, really, is the shock value of those initial rapes. But a) you can't build a long-running series on that shock value (which is why they mostly disappear from the series) and b) there is porn for that.

Now you do have some point right there . sure the story could have been better but i like how the anime are brave enough to include gore scene and rape scene because im starting to get bored with all this isekai anime that does not include gore scene in it . if you have some good isekai manga that has gore scene similar to beserk / goblin slayer im willing to give it a read

That's the concept in a nutshell. And from there on the author has to justify this by making a world where nobody else takes goblins seriously except this one guy yet also show how much of a threat goblins can be if they aren't taken seriously. And when you make that your entire story you end up with everyone except your MC being clinically retarded for somehow managing to avoid acknowledging what is clearly a race war. But it works, because GS is a light novel protagonist and like 95+% of LN protags, he is a blatant self-insert and people love the idea of secretly being smarter than everyone else. Cue a dozen volumes worth of "adventures" that don't really go anywhere in the end except for showing off how clever and badass your MC is

It's amazing how many of these crap series don't have so much as an iota of a plot. It's just a cheap premise to try and catch an editors eye, sprinkle in some edge so teenagers think they're being hardcore for liking it and then nothing happens but the same tired anime crap we've seen a thousand times over and over. There's no plot here. There's no character here. And certainly not everything has to be some Lord of the Rings esque adventure epic, but you need to have a bit more even if your story is a more personal stakes drama.
