so when I was rewatching In noticed something I didn't before. In the third episode tenchi and ayeka have a romantic sort of moment where they take shelter in a shed from the rain.
in the next episode ryoko accuses tenchi of making out with her in the shed and is jealous he hasn't made out with her yet. at first this seems like it was a misunderstanding sort of joke but later on in the bath scene ryoko jokingly tells ayeka how she was so forward in the cabin with tenchi, and ayeka gets super flustered and asks how she saw it. to which ryoko tells her that she could see everything though ryo-ohki's memory
so literally at some point off-screen when that scene in the cabin/shack occurred, tenchi and ayeka actually kissed
