Yeah, like from Canada and until about the Great lakes is the North American Union and from there until central America is the Confederacy States of America (CSA). Mexico doesn't exist and is replaced by the "Chaos Zone" and is ruled by an immortal vampire.
Pic related, it's an excerpt from Volume 10, explaining the geography and politics of North America. The CSA is currently supplying weapons and funding to rebels within the Chaos Zone to incite and instigate a Civil War. The CSA can't exactly fight on equal terms since it's sandwiched between 2 enemies, the Northern American Union and not-Mexico.

When we first transitioned to the OVA season format, fansubbing was almost dead. We eventually managed to get decent subs for the 2nd season, though it was a long wait for those.
The 3rd and 4th seasons don't have any consistently decent subs and until CR decide to release the subs for those seasons, we are essentially stuck where only those who have read the LN's or understand Japanese actually know what is going on.
The LN finished like 2 years ago and we're still waiting for the translations on the last 2/3 volumes, so again only those who care enough to look for the information or those who know Japanese know definitively how it ends.
Lastly, the battle harem genre is dead and Strike the Blood is released so infrequently that most of us who enjoy it and post in the threads only make threads around the time a new batch of OVA's come out. There isn't much to discuss.
