Build a Wall.

The defenses seem pretty shitty

Laziness

They're all based on a IRL german town.

Every single time this image is posted.

That Shield Hero image is just another Konosuba screenshot. If you’re going to shitpost, at least do it right.

Every fucking post-middle ages big town was like that tho

They all take place in the same world but in different time periods.

Oy vey

VGH...

Doesn't Naofumi go to a bunch of different locations anyway? Its part of his job.

I'm guessing konosuba was the first, shield hero was a literal art rip-off, and the last one was a shitty derivative drawing based on the first. So Konosuba wins for being a parody isekai that had superior art to serious isekais.

I am sorry user, but unfortunately we'll have to remove your Dr. credentials because you mis-sourced a konosuba picture as a shield hero picture unironically. Your middle picture is therefore a complete fabrication.

Also reminiscient of Paris within the old town wall.

Looks different enough.

Saillune...HOME.

Yes, but that literally is another konosuba screenshot.

Why the hell wasn't the city built on the hill and spread outward from there?

Not enough water there.
Have you ever notices that thriving towns/cities tend to pop up near lakes, rivers, or oceans?
A good water source is the foundation of a successful civilization.

I feel like that's a really big town for a medieval city that doesn't have the advantage of modern transportation to distribute its resources.

It's paris.

The dragons they use are as fast as cars and come with a special trait that stops any wind drag.
