Totally not mark was doing play by plays of episodes wasn't he? I'm not defending it, but it makes sense. If you're reviewing every episode of One piece as it comes out that's not the same as say, a retrospective on the whole series. It's still fucked but at least I understand it. I don't know NAZ, but Pierrot at least creates filler arcs for their long-running shows instead of adapting half a manga chapter per episode like Toei do with One Piece. Plus I've never seen a fight as poorly animated and drawn as Luffy vs Doflamingo or Luffy vs Cracker in shows like Naruto or Bleach.
