If goblins are supposed to be the kind of standard fodder that all new adventurers go kill early on in their careers, why doesn't the Adventurer's Guild teach all of their newcomers the basic sensible strategies for fighting them that would reduce the woeful and completely unnecessary attrition rate?
I find that the Guild is quite reprehensible in its total lack of care and responsibility toward the "contractors" who work under it.
Even firms that have got a reputation as "black companies", such as Uber Eats, at least make their people complete a driver safety training program before they send them off into the real world, and their job is much safer by default.
If goblins are supposed to be the kind of standard fodder that all new adventurers go kill early on in their careers...
What are the basic sensible strategies for fighting them that would reduce the woeful and completely unnecessary attrition rate?
Just do whatever Goblin Slayer does, pay attention, don't fall into traps and ambushes and don't be an idiot in general.
The fact that we always see people walking in with zero knowledge of goblin behaviour is just atrocious.
Most people never even do a goblin quest in their adventurer career. You are just wasting resources teahcing them useless shit
How can that be possible when they're one of the most numerous monster types out there?
No they are not
Maybe not as common as something like slimes, but still very common.
>why don't the guilds do the adventurers' work for them?
Maybe to filter out retards like you
How's it in the Guild's interests to have people die unnecessarily just because they have no training?
people are replaceable, nobody cares about poorfags coming for lesser quests to make their ends meet
This. The guild gets money for being a middeleman between quests and adventurers. Why should they care about training the adventurers?
Look, if you decide to do something as a fucking career (Which in this case, 'Adventuer' is a career.) then you should have basic knowledge.
When they agree to take the job they are expressing their confidence that they can handle it. They're contractors, not interns. If they're not capable or competent than they should get some training.
The more people they have, the more quests they can carry out. This means more money to the guild.
Having a bunch of quests just sit there on the billboard forever because you don't have enough manpower to get them done because of a high mortality rate isn't the optimal approach.
That's literally a plot point in the canon. The Guild basically doesn't give a shit because there is always more bodies lining up to replace those that fall and goblins are only a true threat to peasant villages. Nobody important cares about newbies or peasants because they dont matter.
>Goblin Slayer
That fucking weirdo! What have I told you about talking to strange people, user?
Why is OP so retarded that he believes Goblin Slayer's shit writing applies to all fantasy works?
Goblin Slayer's shit writing isn't shit
>the guild should be held accountable for my entire lack of tactical acumen and brainlet mediocrity
Get fucked by a hot iron rod faggot zoomer.
Goblin Slayer is a shallow piece of work that only got attention due to rape.
And rape's all a piece of media needs, faggot zoomer.
I like it due to goblin slayer's autism
>Nobody important cares about newbies or peasants because they dont matter.
Except when it's time to collect taxes.
That weirdo helped you to conquer your crush.
Why is it always goblins in these stories? They're like ugly jew shotas, no appeal at all.
Do. When will it be revealed that the Guild were the true villains all along?
>why doesn't the Adventurer's Guild teach all of their newcomers
They do.
