what are Any Forums thoughts on Psycho-Pass?
I honestly feel it's severy underrated; probably in the top 10 best animes yet its fandom is barely noticeable.

It's well known but it's not the sort of thing that acquires a vocal fandom + people hating the later seasons + currently waiting for announcements of new projects.

I thought the first season was decent. Apparently the new inspector introduced at the end does a bunch of stupid shit later on so I decided not to stick around for it.

Even though they really aren't that bad and are less straightforward than season 1.

>it's not the sort of thing that acquires a vocal fandom
why tho? what is it missing?
>people hating the later seasons
I can understand the change of tone on the last season but desu It still felt as good as always

Mainly that it barely is character-based at all.

Akane a cute. That's what I think. That's my thoughts. Inspector Akane Tsunemori is cute.

but user you didn't even give it a try

I genuinely don't get the hate for Mika as a character besides her being annoying to people.

I want to sniff Akane's panties

to be fair she's indeed annoying, especially when you compare her to most characters in the series (they're far more mature). But I don't believe she's a terrible character, just a little extra maybe?
off-topic but I have a special place for Yayoi & Shion as characters

Yeah, she is dramatic. But she isn't unbelievable at all as how a person would behave.

Season 1 was kino but that's because of its übermensch villain Makishima

he would be better if he didnt constantly spout book quotes as half of his character

>animes
It was great and it was one of my favorite 2010 shows.
Never bothered with the other seasons; the first had a perfectly conclusive ending.

agreed, Makishima was on a whole new level. Tho the rest of the antagonists don't really fall behind.
>the first had a perfectly conclusive ending
never felt curious about what happened with Kogami? Or what would happen when the Sibyl System was exposed to society?

No, not really. Cyberpunk dystopias always end with such "open" finales so it was fine by me.

Kill yourself cancer

Tsunemori is legitimately the best of the girls who's voiced by HanaKana. Mostly due to how she doesn't get involved in any love triangle drama, and because Kogami is the only guy she's the closest to having as the person she's romantically involved with. Don't see what's the appeal of that blank state shy doormat who's too slow and too late to act on her feelings for the purple-haired Yakuza guy who I know was engaged to that blonde gorilla, and the chunnibyou girl in a black dress who's dumb enough to let her boyfriend turn into a sister fucker.

>I genuinely don't get the hate for Mika as a character besides her being annoying to people
Choosing to make bitch moves against Akane instead of getting along with said partner over having their childhood friends killed by Shogo and Rikako aside, Mika basically got Akane's grandma killed by Togane right back in the later parts of Season 2.

CAUSE I FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL

>I thought the first season was decent.
That was the only good one. The rest became more pozzed/ political at the cost of having a lower tier story plot (and boring new characters too).

First season was great, goes down hill after that. Other seasons almost seemed like it was trying to make the Cybil (sp?) system out to be good.

>boring new characters
such as?

It is overrated

Masterpiece. Old good new bad hipster fags won't say this because they don't judge anime based on the quality which they can't perceive but rather on its pseudointellectual wankery factor, "maturity" aka stoic level and inexpressiveness of the characters, and how realistic, old, or cel the art looks, and on how unpopular it is.

Ah yes, the Psycho Pass.

The two new main characters in last season so far (psychic and the Russian) or season 3 in general.

For me the first season had the right balances of interesting characters, story plot, horror and action.
