What was his actual goal once he became god/Soul-King? At least with Yhwach, he tells us his actual goal was to make a utopia where nobody dies.

Profit

Aizen was already dissolving the barriers between shinigami and hollow so I guess he was aiming for ending afterlife racism or something like that, with him as the absolute authority over all

Knowing Aizen, he would perform experiments to create completely new lifeforms. Maybe drastically change the structure of the worlds.

>afterlife racism
Kys

But that isn’t what he was going to do

he wanted to be at the top of everything, you aren't at the top as long as there is a god above you

This might sound retarded so feel free to disagree but am I the only one who likes not entirely knowing his end goal

Sure can’t fear your own world goes into more detail but I think not knowing everything fits the story way more

Bleach isn’t about following Ichigo until he reaches his goal it’s more about his reactions to the world around him and dealing with beings hundreds of years older than him from societies he doesn’t know

So Aizen just being a big bad because he’s evil and looks cool as fuck while doing it is more effective for setting him up against Ichigo than if we knew his plan 100%, the audience is thrown into the mix just the same as Ichigo is

Aizen doesn't have a goal because he is just unfinished character. He is just generic bad guy who wants to get stronger for no reason at all. He is portrayed as quite intelligent as a mastermind however in the end it amounts to nothing. One thing to understand that bleach is not serious work and is basically aimed at kids so actual depth is not really required.

And then what? During hueco mundo arc he was already better off than most shinigami, he already had a ton of resources, his strength was increasing constantly, the technological/spriritual development was way better than what they had at soul society and getting better, so what is the point, what does position of soul king have that simply could not be achieved by staying in Hueco mundo

he literally just refused to let himself be controlled by anyone, ever
which is funny because his zanpaktou is all about controlling others via their senses
really makes you think

Hueco Mundo is a shithole

He didn’t have one.
But I mean it makes sense. Hes, powerful, and bored. Shinigami live a lot longer than humans do, and the mindless day to day dronery probably bored him. So having a goal or something to do, even if there was no good reason for it, kept him sane

Aizen literally said what his goal was

"I don't like anyone being above me"

yeah but soul society isn't much better given how it is basically one galactic size shanty town where all homeless souls live. And the dimension where soul king resides is small and exist within soul society (from what I remember)

>soul society isn't much better
Its not an endless fucking desert

Yes it is just an endless shanty town with population of like a trillion hobos

Cope

As the name implies it's baren

He didn't know (yet). That's why he wanted the Hogyoku to guide him towards his desire.
