It's impossible to take the story seriously when Saitama exists.

Behold

Why do the Japanese have such a hate boner for religion? They literally can't resist forcing it into everything and then making it evil

Saitama's been kinda made a chump these last few chapters. Multiple enemies taking punches and not dying

It's just that Japs treat Christianity and Abrahamism in general the same way Westerners treat Greek mythology
What happens in Western works of fiction based on Greek mythology? That's right, the MC usually kills or fights one, multiple or all of the gods.

It's just centipedes all the way down, isn't it.

Saitama doesn't exist most of the time

Greek gods sole existence is to get humbled by mortals

this, but goddesses instead of gods

The whole Greek cycle goes like this. In the beginning there was Ouranos. He was an asshole, so his son Kronos overthrew him. Then Kronos became an asshole, so his son Zeus overthrew him. Of course Zeus was an asshole too, and there was a prophecy that one of his sons would overthrow him too. Prometheus knew which of Zeus's many, many human lovers would give birth to that son, and that was a big part of why he got chained up and tortured for eternity. But no matter how much pain Prometheus went through, he wouldn't spill the beans.

The whole Abrahamic thing goes like this. There's this dude Yahweh, he's the biggest asshole who ever assholed, and if you go against him he will fuck you up. He makes the rules because literally no one has the power to stand up to him.

This Ya-Wey guy sound pretty based, how do I get in contact?

Its not that they hate it; Its just that they dont have the same emotional attachment to it that you do. They just see exotic shit and see "wow, cool aesthetics for my monsters".

He prefers to be called God, and His pronouns are He/Him (case sensitive)

Wait since he created all of us can't i call him dad? Also wasn't his name Demiurge or something?

He's actually nonbinary and Their pronouns are unironically they/them, not just because They're beyond gender, but also because They are literally so fucking powerful you have to refer to Them as if They were two niggas.
None of this is a joke btw.

wht does she looks like a child?

why*

...

>starting

when the cadres got to the surface that was the last time i felt like it was one punch man. everything since has been yawn inducing

>two niggas
the entire point of the post-timeskip arc is that there's THREE of Them. Stop speedreading.

Also there's an entire movement to do that exact thing, something about the biblical God being too far separate from humanity that calling God a He or She is just plain wrong
