Why did AoT have to have such a shit ending?

why did AoT have to have such a shit ending?
>Eren never, EVER showed any romantic interest in Mikasa, ever
>By leaving like 30-20% of the world alive, he made pariah's out of all Eldian's
>Pointless Historia pregnancy build up
>No meaningful death's after Sasha despite full on genocide/warfare
>Hange's death, absolutely pointless & avoidable
>Happy Disney/Pixar ending
The conclusion of this series is honestly insulting

Kill yourself, snktard

Oh, would it be better if I watched slice of life bullshit? Fuck off

NTA, but indeed.
>Watching anything published in shounen magazines
Kek

why do people care so much about the ending and not the journey. So what if the ending didn't meet your expectations you still read it until the end means you enjoyed the whole thing

Why the fuck would you ever watch this

>you enjoyed the whole thing
not true
I enjoyed until ch122, went to shit after that, was good again with ch130-131 and then went to shit again

Because SnK's ending is so bad that it retroactively makes everything post timeskip unsalvageable because nothing makes any fucking sense with the information you know and the payoff for everything is dogshit.

The journey got pretty bumpy and the ending didn't help. The first few arcs were good but then the cracks were readily apparent and it just built upto the ending being so terrible as a result.

Because it was a garbage series start to finish

>why do people care so much about the ending and not the journey.
What is with this garbage cope?

The climax is the most important part of a story, you could have the best plot and development in the history of writing, but if your ending is anything close to what Isayama would write, it smears the entire thing.
It's also the thing talk the most about in any story

>Happy Disney/Pixar ending
How the hell it's a happy ending? It's one of those goddamn "bittersweet" BS types — where author will feed you with shit, but adds some sugar to mask the taste of shit a little bit.

>The climax is the most important part of a story
that sounds just an opinion you can have a tragic ending and it would carry the story just as well
I think the story until the monkey titan showed up was interesting but it got stale and lost interest in watching it any further

Fuck off. It's about journey AND the the destination. It's fine to never care about conclusion in nearly plotless SoLs, but endings are important to stories that put a lot of focus on the story like SnK.

No that's the issue, it's not a "tragic ending", it's a retarded one since the author assassinates several of his characters for no apparent reason. A tragic ending was in order for sure because the tone of the series had always been around death violence and loss.
I also agree that it started to fall off once the titans weren't the main threat but people. They even kill off all of the fucking titans on the island at some point ffs

It's obviously gonna be written in a way they are "real" since she is the FMC. But from her actions, they are fake

you're in the wrong place r*dditor.

only redditfags like solshit

Because the ending recontextualized the story with time travel all the way back to the first episode.

>muh ships

>why did a shit series have a shit ending

This.

I already lost interest after the basement reveal
