I think it can be hit and miss. It does slapsticks pretty well, and because of the way animator went to town on some of the spectacles I thought it was always good for a chuckle. Some of the surrealist segment can be a meh. I personally think Nichijou is at its best when it straddles the relatable and absurd, my personal favorite is the goat tipping skit, camping, and fake bills.
