There is nothing to get

What didn't you get?

Isn’t it about a depressed dude who learns to cope? Every work of his is about it.

You born, you wagecuck, you die
Simple as

Misery porn garbage.

There's nothing to get, it's about a guy who has an unrealistic amount of bad shit happen to him completely outside of his control. The dialogue is relatable if you're depressed, that's it.

I stopped reading after the time skip into middle school where he became even more isolated and got cucked. Misery porn is not fun, it makes me feel physically sick.

Fuck this manga. Guy literally had sex and multiple girls willing to put up with his bullshit and he still couldn't do better with his life. Terrible manga, terrible message should've killed himself in the end.

>unrealistic amount of bad shit
Zoomers are so fucking sheltered and privileged they thing real life is unrealistically bad.

They are living real life. Punpun is a manga, none of it is real. It was all created by some guy

>unrealistic amount of bad shit happen to him completely outside of his control.
There were a few key things that he didn't have control over, but a whole bunch of other things were just him being him and fucking it up for himself. He definitely wanted to go back to simpler times when he was kids with his childhood crush, but she was also all kinds of fucked and the two getting back together was a horrific trainwreck.
It's about growing up in a not so perfect world and life, clinging onto his youthful "what-if's", and instead of coming to terms with the hand he was dealt, he was presented with another shot at that "What-if" except he and her were way too fucked at that point to really live up to whatever fantasy they had in their head.

I didn't read this because someone handled me the last japanese volume and i saw the mc's gf hanged corpse. whats the point in reading it if you know how she is going to die.

It was only the artist girl that put up with him.
His aunt was never really an option since it caused him some psychological trauma. He got real close to fucking that other girl but he wasn't really into her iirc, and ultimately Aiko had mental issues as well from years of abuse from her crazy mother and a horrible pairing for him.

It's misery porn, because anyone who paid attention could tell Aiko needed a savior in her miserable life and Punpun was not it. But they got together again the last 1/3 of the story and it was downhill with no brakes at that point.

oh, so its teenager bait.

I really hated everytime "god" appeared. That and the cult shit was a waste of time.

The life of a cuck, nothing else

I read it knowing it. It’s honestly fine, Aiko isn’t even that important outside of the first and last volume.
