In the fanbook that was the backstory where she got recruited by a high end brothel to train as an Oiran, and she poked the samurai bc he insulted gyuu, but the anime showed her still in the poor district, in a run down room, a bed, and poking the samurai. They made her seem like a full blown prostitute. Oof.
