Theres what 2-3 arcs left and every strawhat (with the exception of Jimbei) has already been in the story for over half its runtime. Hell even JImbei was a major supporting character before the timeskip. More importantly it just woudnt really add anything to the narrative. As were finally reaching the conclusion it would just make more sense to focus on finishing up the character arcs of the strawhats we already have rather then trying to introduce more in a cast thats already about to overflow. It would make way more sense to put Yamato into the strawhat sphere of influence like Law and Kid and fit more into her character anyways
