All I know about this anime is that it's doujins have a lot of shota for no reason.

I honestly wish they spent more time outside of the tanks, so we could get to know the characters beyond a general theme for each team.

strike witches if you want a proto-GuP with added porn. Youjo Senki if you want strike witches-eque combat and no SoL. Kotobuki if you want girls und planes. Haifuri if you want girls und boats, Kancolle if you want the navy version of strike witches. Your enjoyment of each one probably depends on what exactly it is about girls + military shows you like, I'd say Kotobuki is the best of the bunch and KanColle is the worst. There's quite a few girls with gun anime too, but I've only seen the airsoft one so I don't really have recommendations there.
