Previous: Having caught on to their plan, Shide and Haine left the festival to try and stop Shinpei's group which is what he was counting on since as long as they were a priority then people on the surface wouldn't be killed. Coming across a small area, Tokiko had everyone get inside Guil so they could pass under it as a shadow. Sensing another one when they emerged, a giant monstrosity firing sharpened teeth, Tokiko told them all to go ahead while she dealt with it. She thanked Shinpei for forgiving her and prepared for battle alone as everyone else left.
Coming across an impenetrable wall of shadow, Ushio initially attempted to hack it but was rebuffed as it was in fact part of Hiruko's main body. When shot it quickly regenerated so Shinpei did the only thing he could think of: he called forth Shadow Mio who had copied the fireworks that were going to be used in the festival and using that blew a hole in the barrier. However one of the Shides came to attack. Nezu stayed behind in the closed barrier to hold him off while urging everyone else to go ahead. Now it was just Shinpei, Ushio, Sou and Shadow Mio inside Hiruko's home, ready to deliver the final blow.
