I know almost everybody hated it but man I loved the movie as well, really incredible visuals (one of the peaks of cell animation era), fantastic soundrack by Hattori and Ruri was so cute, I loved that melancholic touch throughout the whole film.

How did that saga end? I'm told it ended with the Dreamcast game but I've never seen anyone say what happens in the ending. Trying to find the ending has only resulted in me finding people asking for the ending and people complaining that they've been unable to find the ending.

I don’t recommend it. The one problem with the movie is it’s disconnected a bit too much from the TV series and is a direct follow up the video game instead. I’d rather have got another series out of it (Nadesico had a warm and comfy feeling to it) but we got this and nothing after. It feels like a lot of wasted potential as Ruri being the Captain instead of Yurika would’ve been an interesting development for her
