Did you try making any of the sweets made in this series?
Yumeiro Patissiere
Why was there that stupid clock in the corner?
To let you know what time it is.
No. I don't recall them ever giving any explicit instructions on how to make any of the food made in it, and I'm not the greatest baker.
Greatest anime opening of all time.
Pretty comfortable and solid series
my childhood...
there were live action sequences after the episodes sometimes with baking instructions for kids
I watched all the live action segments, but I don't remember any instructions. Wasn't it mostly decoration "tips" to promote the tie-in goods?
oh could be, it's been years since I watched
How did you guys even find this series when you were younger? It was my first anime, and one of my friends introduced it to me, and I still have no clue even today why he was watching this.
>when you were younger
Laughter. Sounds like your friend had good taste though, so good on him for getting you into it.
I watched it a few years ago after seeing a post about it on here. I wonder if I would have appreciated it more or less had I watched when I was younger.
Probably less.
I remember seeing amvs on youtube, most likely how i decided to watch it
Yeah, I basically started off watching Shojo with this and Shugo Chara after. Fun times.
What did you like about it? In retrospect, I don't think there was too special about the characters or narrative. For me, I just saw it as a foodporn display with a fun main protagonist. When I re-watched it when I got older, it just highlighted the more commercial aspects of it, and the slog of the tournament plot
I totally wiped out Kashigo from my head, but yeah, that was HUGE during 2011. Not Tadamu / Amuto levels, but still.
>what did you like about it
Easy to watch, sometimes fun and entertaining, pretty relaxing, some good food porn.
Unironically Flipnote Hatena. Someone did a video with the theme song as background music
they fact that there still isn't a normal dvd rip of this show
You got something against clock?
