I did not get as far into it as I did reading Liar Game. I was bored after the electric bridge. It's that the violent games weren't as interesting as the math/psyche ones. The first game with the cards was engaging for example
Kaiji is a mediocre drama with dumb gambles and paper thin insight on psychology and sociology. It fails to be an interesting gambling story unless you're a mental teenager.
Kakegurui is a good gambling-centered erotic anime. It succeeds in being fappable psychological pornography.
