Previous: At the festival that afternoon, Haine and Shide wondered where Shinpei was as Haine was unable to sense him despite her hand print. Figuring that he wouldn't do anything until he found Ushio, she told Shide that he was likely hiding among the shadows so she'd made sure the strays looking for her out in the Strait were by Shide's side and to look out for one that separated from the rest. When it did happen, Shide went after Guil but Shinpei, inside Guil, was able to reach Ushio first. Being blasted out of the water, Shinpei was able to get Ushio to scan the shell bringing her memories back. Stronger than ever now as she hacked shadows as soon as she touched them, Ushio made immediate work of the strays before getting ready to go after Shide.
