Sylvie has more loyalty to her ward than she does to Rudy and explicitly tells him so. The weird narrative the author tries to push of this deep childhood connection with Sylvie is stupid because they barely spent any time together as children, then he never saw her again for years. He actually spent over twice as many years with Eris, actually lived through some hard shit with her, traveled on the road for years with her, had heartfelt moments with her - how we're supposed to take Sylvie seriously as a love interest over her is beyond me.

Eh, don't teleportation circles need places with high amounts of mana (which means places full of shitty horrible monsters that arise as a result from the mana concentration)?
Also, the biggest problem at said time is that the Pax territory is a domain of the King Dragon Kingdom, and they might not allow their subject, Pax II, to create a magical teleportation circle to Ranoa without their permission.
