Which one of these annoy you the most about how overrated they are?

Which one of these annoy you the most about how overrated they are?
For me it's Eva

only the 2 last episodes of EVA are any good.

My tastes have transcended those of your typical user, and so what they think no longer is of interest to me

Brotherhood

Which anime got you there?

I can see how some impressionable kids might find the other 5 fun or interesting, but NHK has zero redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Ditto, I hear it's only still considered a top anime because of its tenacious fanbase.

TTGL and Eva
I fucking hate mecha forever because of these two + Guilty Crown
(But at least the first 8 episodes of TTGL were very fun)

imagine thinking welcome to the nhk is overrated grow the fuck up faggot

>Which anime got you there?
Akito the Exiled.

Misery good and profound, and it speaks to neets like me, contrary to vapid moeshit and shounenshit. Something of the sort.

Just watch isekai, a major part of nhk was isekai as well.
NHK is just too empty-handed and null

It is, 8 people out of 10 like it

Fate. But of those probably Eva. None of the other fans come close to the level of constant shitposting of Eva fans.

I dropped FMA after four episodes but I mostly blame Brotherhood after having someone explain 03 and BH to me.

FMAB>EVA>NHK>Gurren Lagann>Shield Hero>Dr. Stone

Shield Hero and Dr. Stone are straight up trash. Gurren Lagann had its time to shine during the heydays of the late 00s, but people are recognizing it now for more of its flaws than its achievements. It's also a ripoff of Getter Robo, so that counts against it as well.

NHK is the one anime where I think people could use to remain aware on the negative effects of fandom culture, but I think it could tone itself down and dial back on the melodramatic conspiracy narrative.

EVA is just that one series where people can agree that it's overrated, yet it's also good. For me, I liked it for its twist on cosmic/biopunk horror, yet people seem more focused on the waifus and slice-of-life scenes (like that's not what the story was supposed to be about; I get that it added to the narrative, but the horror aspect was, as it should have been, the main focus).

End of Evangelion is actually more of a perfection of the narrative within Evangelion's storytelling. Unfortunately, Gainax has this habit of taking dark and edgy shit into waifu-pandering (looking at you, Nadia)

>inb4 DUDE MEAT BAD, LMAO (yet somehow cows kill more people than sharks IRL)

Fullmetal Alchemist, I would say, is the one that annoys me the most about how overrated it is.

The comedy and running gags suck. The history of Amestris is a blatant attempt at making a Post-9/11 reactionary. Characters are poorly developed and designed. Hell, there is literally a character named Buccaneer and *nobody* seems to find anything wrong with that.

>hurr durr the character's name is Scar because he has a scar on his face and likes to kill people out of revenge

As with a lot of modern anime and shonen, there are too many blatant gags and tropes from Japanese society that are just an attempt to be facetious towards the viewer (i.e. Alphonse liking cats because of some bullshit mythology or old wive's tale about cats/pandas in armor or something)

I don't think you know what overrated means

how you gonna put dr stone and the fucking edgy shield show like dr stone was okay sure didnt blow my mind basic science is interesting wow. but shield hero are you fucking serious

The top 3 are kino you faggot learn what overrated means first

You're missing SnK

>>inb4 DUDE MEAT BAD, LMAO (yet somehow cows kill more people than sharks IRL)
I'm unsure if I should take this as a joke or if you're really retarded.
>The history of Amestris is a blatant attempt at making a Post-9/11 reactionary.
The manga started and was planned before 9/11 happened. Arakawa has explicitly mentioned she's read literature on WW2 and talked with veterans, it has nothing to do with some small terrorist attack in America nobody cares about.
