Mashima's been doing the storyboard for the sequel while another bloke does the art. He's learning english and developing games and shit on the side too - he's a monster.

545 chapters in the main series, another 30-odd when you take into account the prequel Zero and the two omake volumes, and now 100+ with 100YQ. That's a whole lot of Fairy Tail.

I still think its kinda lam they just dropped 5 more agnalogai tier dragons out of no where after it kept getting hammered in that he was the last dragon and gained his power threw killing the last dragons. It was the reason why dragon slayers were so rare. I mean there was lots of other foreshadowed stuff that could have been post story villains. God slayers and God soul magic were always treated as being greater than its dragon and demon counter parts. A real God could have been the end goal of a 100 year quest. Or maybe another Demon could have worked. Idk, its just having dragons and dragon slayers running around really seems lame. Also Natsu should be easly the strongest member of fairy tail, he beat Zeref and Argnalogia pretty much. There are still ways of making the story good and suspenseful. Its just stupid that he is always set at strongish every arc.

I mean, that was kind of addressed, wasn't it? It's not like Natsu just straight up 1v1'd Acnologia, he was enchanted with the power of every other dragon slayer at the same time everyone on the continent spirit bomb nuked Acnologia's physical form as well as exploiting the dragon's weakness to moving vehicles. It's kind of misleading to simply state that Natsu beat Acnologia so he's the strongest when there were so many conditions and circumstances.

It depends on which Acnologia they mean, but if they're talking about early fairy tail pre power-up acnologia (which makes sense because that's the one they'd be familiar with), then I can kind of buy it. Since Ignia was able to rip off Acnologia's arm in a straight up 1v1 despite having been essentially sealed inside Natsu for 500 years, I don't think it's outlandish that his blood son who had been training for those centuries for the sole purpose of gaining power could have reached that level of strength.
