I know the Villain Hunt is some of Hori's worst writing yet, but what the fuck was Nagant even capturing Deku for? AFO said the quirk he gave her was her payment, so she really just wanted to fly around? I get that it was strategically beneficial to the assignment, but still. And she was completely fine with remaining a pariah, hated by heroes and villains alike?

Bakugo's existence unironically hurts the manga. I do not understand his popularity. He's generic (even for Hori standards), literally just a stereotypical bully with a inferiority complex, and he essentially died at Kamino because that's where he stopped being relevant. I doubt he was ever even intended to be a main character, he just became popular for ungodly reasons. That's why every scene with him feels forced, he's like those shitty comic relief characters that pop up and bring everything to a screeching halt with their stupid shenanigans. There's nothing else to him but spergouts and shipping autism, he's irrelevant to both the themes and the plot, you could take him out of the story at this point and nothing would change. AfO is more complex than he is. Spinner is more important than he'll ever be.

Potentially one of the worst choices Hori made. Fujos like him because Kirishima went out of his way to befriend him, and he's always talking about manliness, which to them, is gay. A good deal of his western fans both portray him as even more heinous than canon, beating the fuck out of Deku on the regular, and insist the comedic slap from his mom is TOTALLY CHILD ABUSE GUISE!!!!!! It's bizarre.
