With the manga pretty much over, are we gonna get the third and final season soon?
With the manga pretty much over, are we gonna get the third and final season soon?
>third and final season
wouldn't it need more than 26 eps?
>Season 1 covered 90 chapters in 24 episodes
>Season 2 covered 84 chapters in 23 episodes
>128 chapters left
True, a bit much for 24 episodes, but not enough for 48. About 34 eps worth of content. Considering DP has captain tsubasa (52 eps) and Jojo (last 3 seasons being 39 eps) under their belt, cant they just go 39 here too?
failed and dead franchise, nothing could save fire force from its shit plot/characters not even nostalgia baseding over soul eater crap
ok
i was thinking 26 eps + another 12 or so eps
3 straight cours seems like it might be too much
Whatever the case, if DP announces a new season, then they will most likely finish the adaptation, as there is no reason to stop after going like 85% into it already.
yeah
i really hope they are able to do it after JoJo
Clearly their entire team ain't working on Jojo, judging by the lower quality of season 6. So Jojo isn't a problem.
not happening, the manga is ending and there is too much content for to fit into one season. The sales were terrible despite the great animation and there is no hype/cultural impact.
i think it did well in streaming
What better way to boost sales one last time, to milk the show one last time, than to make one more season?
This. A lot of shows recently have sold like shit, and yet gotten more seasons thanks to good streaming numbers. The old days of BD sales mattering are over and done with.
Interesting.
David Pro is doing the Urusei Yatsura revival too.
Just started this, about 20 chapters in. I always see the really weird pages from much later get posted in FF threads. Does it just get weird all of a sudden? Does it ramp up from kind of eh shonen to bizarre? I did not expect kung fu fire fighters played straight
i've only watched the anime but the unusual undercurrent starts to seep in more and more after season 1 (i think after chapter 80). it doesn't go off the rails but the setting did start getting more and more interesting while still being a fairly conventional shonen
So is this a soul eater crossover or not (I haven't caught up yet)?
>crossover
It's a prequel, Shinra becomes god and transforms their world into the Soul Eater world.
Looking back at all the hints dropped since begining
like fire force suits design reassebling Eibon's armor or Rekka's star shapped pupil, Ohkubo should have tried a little harder to set up Soul Eater ending, instead of just isekai'ing whole cast in the very last chapter.
>Manga ends
>They adapt it as a full anime
>It leads into the soul eater stuff, thus getting everybody nostalgic
>They announce a Soul Eater reboot
If stuff like Kenshin and Urusei Yatsura can get reboots out of nowhere, then why pass up a perfect opportunity to reignite interest in that series?
could be cool
it was pretty obvious once that kid went full blown Madness with a capital M that the cosmology was linked
