Manga is more mentally and physically straining so I can't read as much as I want.

Anime. Lesser art and minor things being cut is a tradeoff I'm willing to make for full color animation with voices and music. Especially with any series that has action scenes and fights. Action scenes in static black and white images without sound just have no impact on me

If the anime is an adaptation, I read the manga so no music, voice acting or color can influence if I like the story or not. If I like it I watch the anime too.

Typically if the source material is manga I prefer the manga. What makes a good manga does not make a good anime and vice versa. Of course there are exceptional examples. Also you're comparing a crisp PNG anime screenshot to a manga screenshot with more JPG compression than I've seen in years, that is not an argument.

For me it's definitely manga, because I can read it at my own pace and imagine my own colors and voice acting.
