That because is the thing that most people read now if you notice the same trend even with nagatoro is considered a manga like this, or sono bisque in fact or many more, the always boring guy who hasn't much too offer other than himself, that is always enraged and done with women and people around him and still have a woman who tease him and follow him even if it's rude. It's a thing that many people feel inside. The usless guy or the unimportant guy that one day just has a story or something interesting, finally you are getting noticed, maybe people including myself we read this genre hoping that in our boring life we find someone who can bring some life around, everyday, working, studying or improving ourself for something we don't even know what, keep repeating ourselves, we are improving, we are special etc etc, and then arrive this girl who destroy our world and views and reshape it in her beauty. We all hope that our ordinary life or boring methods can attract a fashionable girl that always tought guys like us are fucking boring but want to understand our feelings, just feel important. I think that's why this genre is coming out more.
People who feel alone and think they're boring and just want to feel some love and reading this is giving us hope.
