Poppy Hill
On a different note, I tried to watch one about an airship or something and I literally fell asleep 1/3 into it. What was it?
It's cool and badass
>Miyazaki
>airship
Do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down?

Why is Miyazaki so afraid of sex? Ashitaka and San has got to be one of the oldest Miyazki couples and they don't even go past first base
Of the ones I've seen...
>Best tier
>my favorites
Princess Mononoke
Porco Rosso
Spirited Away
>Okay tier
>somewhat memorable and enjoyable
Kiki's Delivery Service
My Neighbor Totoro
Howl's Moving Castle
Ponyo
>Forgettable tier
>not terrible, but i remember nothing about them
Castle in the Sky
The Wind Rises
>Shit tier
>hated it
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
That's not how you spell Kiki
Gonna be honest, I'm just not really charmed by Miyazaki and I don't really get the appeal
Miyazaki has five good anime:
Future Boy Conan
Castle of Cagliostro
Nausica
Castle in the Sky
Kiki
rest are average and sold on initial Miyazaki hype
Because San is the most attractive ghibli girl.
She probably takes the knot like a pro as well.
San was literally raised by wolves and Ashitaka was autistically devoted to virtue. I don't think either of them know anything about sex.
They're both a little too autistic for sex that quickly; let them hold hands for an extended period of time for a while before they move to the next base
Whisper of the Heart is the best Ghibli one and isn't even by Miyazaki.
>Puts Nausicaa below Howls and kiki's delivery service
R u a girl?
Part of the reason I like Mononoke so much is that it's different from the rest of his catalog. Ghibli films have a reputation for being about the magic of childhood and the wonders of the imagination and shit, but then Princess Mononoke comes and brings up history, war, politics, environmentalism, religion, etc. And here the spirits aren't mischievous friends who love kids, they're violent gods out for vengeance against humanity.
Mononoke was alright, certainly better than whatever Howl was trying to be. Just felt a little disjointed, like it never came full circle. Ashitaka just moving into the iron works when his swine flu was cured didn’t feel that fulfilling.
princess mononoke is trash
They're a cute couple still
I’ve recently started a watch through of every Ghibli film and so far Porco Rosso is one of my new favorites.
