Anyone just don't watch anime by season anymore?
I only watch stuffs that i know i will like now.
Anyone just don't watch anime by season anymore?
been doing that forever
>I only watch stuff I'll like
congrats on growing a functional brain and figuring out how to curate your media experiences. Now if only the rest of Any Forums would follow your example and stop hate-following seasonal shit that pisses them off
I don't watch any anime at all, my abysmal attention span can't handle it
I only read LNs and manga
I mostly do that, but the thing is I like talking about anime I watch with people but I don't have any close friends who would care about what I thought of some 5 year old show so that's why I sometimes watch seasonals, for the sake of joining discussions.
you could spend that time meeting new people and making more friends instead
It used to be really easy to make online friends before but I'm not really sure how to do that anymore. Still trying though, thanks for your reminder.
>I only watch stuffs that i know i will like now.
Terrible approach. It means you'll never develop as an individual, never grow to appreciate things that are outside of your comfortzone. Anime is already escapism as is, but what you're doing is the next stage, the safe space faggot stage where you deliberately choose to stagnate so your feelings aren't being hurt. That's not to imply that you should be watching seasonal instead, but I sure hope you have a comparitively vast palette. Otherwise you should seriously consider necking thineselves, you insecure little faggot.
>getting this mad over which cartoons someone else watches during r&r
I'm not retarded so I generally know what I'll like even with upcoming anime. I don't need people to watch the whole thing first and spoonfeed me their opinions. It must be hell to be like that with manga, where it can take a decade for one to finish.
>I only watch stuffs that i know i will like now.
How would you know before watching?
>hate-following seasonal shit that pisses them off
but that's the best part
>look at who made it. have they made other things you like
>look at the poster. do you like the art direction and character designs
>look at the trailers. do you like the animation
>read the blurb. does the subjevt matter interest you
>has someone familiar with your tastes reccomended it for you
etc etc
Why watch seasonal when you could just watch a higher quality, better animated, and possibly uncensored bluray release with the comfort of knowing that the story concludes and isn't left hanging for a sequel that may or may not come?
If you've ever watched anime seasonally you're a fucking retard
I like taking risks, sometimes.
Although I only follow 4-5 series each season, it's not like I am watching them all. My backlog is too big for that
>not watching samurai flamenco seasonally
stop enjoying le things
He asks on a website dedicated to DISCUSSING anime. Gee wiz, user, I wonder how many people will there be left to discuss the anime with 6 months - 1 year after it finished airing.
The fuck? Are you serious? What do you think I come to Any Forums for? Of course you can discuss old anime here. If the anime is worth discussing, that is. Sure, you'll hardly ever see a thread about Tokimeki Memorial, but that's a good thing.
>dude you're supposed to waste 4+ hours and be bored, that makes you a better person
No thanks.
>you insecure little faggot.
Ironic.
Newfag containment thread.
