How come this worked?
How come this worked?
Did it? I thought it was standard fare, apart from the stellar animation.
I wouldn't know I stopped watching as soon as it confirmed nothing supernatural would happen
Are you curious?
girls were cute enough
MC is literally me
If it worked they would've made more.
This, barely manged to stay interested
Driven by likable characters, and it's got top notch production quality. You may disagree but I thought the mysteries themselves were interesting despite the mundanity of them
It rode on the visuals like all kyoani shows. If it was animated by the likes of Jc staff, no one would remember it anymore
I agree, the mysteries were interesting for the sake of the mysteries themselves.
I would say it's not only the visuals but the direction as well. RIP Yasuhiro Takemoto.
High production value trumps everything. Look at Kojima, he can make a high production value walking simulator and it was good.
>sequel never
An actual, well-written cast of characters and events thoroughly elevated by impeccable visual direction.
Cultural festival arc is my favorite, along with the one-off episode about the old teacher and helicopters.
I didn't find it very fun. Felt like there were too long stretches where nothing happened. Mysteries were fun but there should've been more of them
It looked good
>Haruhi knockoff

Was it tho
He's literally me.
Kyoani carried this show.
veg would've been popular regardless f who made it, if the script writer (freelancer) had stayed the same and the new director was at least decent
