It’s not even about the traces, but the amount of weird physiology, perspective and how boring and uninspired they are.
I usually refer to the manga as the official canon, but with super, it’s so bad that I feel embarrassed whenever I did.
I mean, the anime isn’t that far off. It’s still bad, but just slightly better.

Correction, though: The DBS promotional SHITnga was never meant to be the official canon of anything. There's a reason why material exclusive to it is completely ignored in all ancillary media, even including the bios for the new movie (which mention Jiren, Broly and Bejita's training under Whis, but say zilch about Cell 2.0, Granolah, or Bejita training under Beerus).

Kaio ken blue for example. If Goku wants to balance two things at once, it should’ve made the technique colored blue, but the aura is jagged like kaio ken, not blue-red flashing together creating seizures.

The continuity is messed up in multiple ways that the manga and anime simply cannot fix. The character development is kind of stagnant. And Characters are jobbing in horrible ways but overall Super is still great . It just needs some better execution on the slice of life moments and action scenes.
