Previous: Mio and Sou arrived at Alan's garden to find Karikiri who seemed affable at first but quickly turned threatening as he turned into Shide. Over at Torajima, Nagumo's group discussed the phone call they'd received and the possibility that Shinpei had died and his looping ability had run out so that said call could've been a trap. Either way, Nagumo was resigned to going and if need be giving a signal for the others to jump in. On the way over she allowed Ryuunosuke to take over. Nagumo saw Shinpei and immediately saw through the ruse. Haine said that fourteen years ago she was on Torajima when she promised she'd kill Nagumo if she ever returned and at the same time Karikiri appeared behind her and attacked.
Nagumo was able to dodge and attack back and Karikiri confirmed that they knew it was really Ryuunosuke controlling his sister's body. Haine stated that after copying Ryuunosuke, her human side couldn't deal with killing her friend's brother so Haine expelled it along with Ryuunosuke's data. However the data shifted coordinates in time so Ryuunosuke was now operating two seconds into the future explaining his predictive powers. Karikiri stated that Haine could see Ryuunosuke's movements so they were meaningless while transforming into Shide. He stated that his armor was made of what was called "mud", former shadows and things never were. It was empty and made of nothingness and thus had no weaknesses and now transformed he was ready to get serious.
There's a timeline of the day/loop a few chapters from now and I think this entire fight from start to finish is like five minutes if that. Everything's moving at DBZ speed.
Since Ryuunosuke is technically shadow data, he can act with all the speed and strength of one. The problem is that his sister's body is still human and human bodies weren't meant to do that.
