"Magu-chan: God of Destruction" by Kei Kamiki will end its main story in upcoming Weekly Shounen Jump issue 10/2022 out Feb 7, 2022 according to a reliable japanese blog. However an additional chapter will be published in Jump Giga issue Spring 2022. 41 pages including color.
In an idyllic country town somewhere The daily life of one person and one pillar continued. In this place where the evil gods' thoughts are swirling In order to make a girl's wish come true The God of Destruction was always watching over by her side.
The days seemed like things were staying the same, but they changed. The group entered high school and begun new activities. Eradicating the seeds of suffering that spread throughout the town and destroying the troubles of others. There were many encounters.
"There have been difficulties. A dark cult of chaos. A battle with a new higher being The trials of everyday life loomed. We always took on these challenges together. We overcame our days together.
We've had our goodbyes We saw off those who had achieved their dreams and departed And through new encounters One day, the girl became an adult And her family grew. And that family has grown up too. And when she became alone again. The God of Destruction continued to watch over her. Forever.
She fell asleep peacefully, and then, she breathed her last. As her family bade her farewell, the God of Destruction disappeared before they knew it." And then... (leaker doesn't say what happens but leaves the crying emoji)

So you are telling me, that Ruru dies just for no reasonafter those months passed? Or just dies of old age?
Tyler Moore
Of old age, the chapter is literally Ruru getting older and older with Magu by her side, that's it. She gets a family, has kids, they grow up, she's alone with kids being off on their own (and implying her husband died before her) etc etc. Kinda depressing.
Cameron Garcia
Good riddance to bad manga
John Adams
Then its not that bad of an ending. >Depressing Yeah well, kinda. Id prefer one that leave it "open" (like those of "and their adventures continues"), but..
Robert Wilson
Never read the manga, but it had a good run. It lasted over a year, which is much longer than many thought it would. Magu lasting over a year is already an accomplishment in itself when many Jump manga don't even make it to their half-anniversary.
Blake Myers
So... what about the observer?
Hunter Rodriguez
It started at june 2020. Thats nearly 2 years, and there are 7 volume. Its a pretty good number.
>Fucking finally this manga was garbage Was it really? I was thinking about picking it up just because of how cute the cover I've been seeing was.
Brayden Ramirez
Read it and form an opinion by yourself. Do you think someone would make a thread like this if he liked the story? Probably is another retard like salty their favourite manga got cancelled.
Alexander Perez
It was. Gags were mostly unfunny, the titular character gets stale quick, the drama is over the top, there's only one good character who is literally just squidward. No wonder it flopped.
