Previous: With the shadows converging on Shinpei and the kids, he panicked and yelled for them wait... and they did much to everyone's surprise causing Haine to transform back into a bird and leave. Shinpei was left to wonder just what happened and reaching into his pocket found Ushio's seashell. Everyone then received calls from Shinpei telling them that Ushio was dead and they needed to meet. Only it wasn't Shinpei but Haine, using a copy of Shinpei's phone.
By the time Shinpei got down from Mt. Takanosu, he arrived at Kofune only to find Mio and Sou gone. He left Akari and the boys with Alan and raced off only to find Shadow Mio captured. After freeing her, she shared her memories revealing that after Haine's call, Mio decided to deal with her shadow fearing that Ushio's death could undo the hacking. Shinpei realized that all the way back in the third loop, he'd been copied at Koba Mart and that his shadow had copied and erased his phone during the festival. When Haine ate everyone at the festival, she'd also reabosrbed the shadows including everything they'd copied which meant Shinpei's shadow and the phone it had copied.
Shinpei received a call from Haine using Nagumo's phone who taunted him saying that Nagumo's group was on Torajima while Mio and Sou were at her father's garden and that he'd only be able to save one of those groups. Despite Shadow Mio's warning that Haine could be lying, Shinpei declared that doing something was better than doing nothing.
