Super robot can be cool but in general I don't like it as much. Though I've only seen Mazinger, Getter, Zambot 3, Ideon, Gunbuster, and I think that's it for super robot. I want more series with 3 pilot combining robots like Ideon and Getter but that seems surprisingly rare from what I found when looking.

I live in the US and I think that's kind of debatable, most people don't really remember golion other than the boomers, Most people of this generation grew up with the 90's mecha like eva, gundam wing, g gundam and big o most of which can hardly be called super robots.
