the reason for that is because female mangaka have real life experience, they go out, they have friends, partners, sex, and get into contact with all sorts of different people and go through all sorts of experiences that they can then use as inspiration or reference
meanwhile almost all male manga authors are shut-in incels, and spend their entire lives in a dark room drawing manga
so when they try to write any kind of romance/relationship/smut series while having zero experience, it shows from how awkward and out of touch it is
the main rule of writing is to only write about things you know, and that's why so many series have a character who is/wants to be a mangaka, because that's literally the only thing those authors know about, the full extent of their life experience, drawing manga
